clase de chicos y chicas formación profesional

Pre-registrations in vocational training (TVET) in Spain are an important process to access training cycles. Here you have relevant information about how they work and some problems that may arise:

Submission of applications

You can only submit one application in which you indicate, in order of preference, the cycles and centers you are interested in. Each application can contain up to ten requests. If you submit several applications in the same admission period, only the last one submitted will be considered valid.

Types of cycles

You cannot apply for both intermediate and advanced cycles at the same time. Only the last application submitted will be considered valid.

You cannot participate simultaneously in a complete offer (face-to-face) and a differentiated partial offer (blended or distance learning). The last application submitted will be the valid one.

Processing of the application

If it is online: Complete the application on the website of the Virtual Secretary's Office of the Ministry of Education with your IANDE password.

If it is face-to-face: You can submit it at the center where you wish to be admitted first.

Reservation or registration

If you are assigned a request different from your preference, you must make the enrollment reservation to continue participating in the awards. If you wish to keep your assigned option, please register.

Complementary partial offer

If you wish to opt for this option, you must expressly mark it on the application form. You will not be able to opt for this option without having previously requested it.

Important dates

June: Submission of applications.

July: List of applications with the score once the claims have been resolved.

Assigning Places

In the allocation of places for vocational training (TVET) in Spain, several priority criteria are considered. Places are allocated based on grade and priority, not order of request.

Here are some more details:

The average grade obtained in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) or equivalent studies is a key factor. If you access through the different entrance exams, the grade obtained is also taken into account.

From next year onwards, places in middle and higher cycles will be allocated on the basis of the grade, not following the order of request as before. In addition, the number of places reserved for students coming from other VET will be increased, to the detriment of the quota of baccalaureate allocations.

Within each quota (e.g., direct access, Basic Grade Vocational Training diploma, entrance exam), priorities are established according to the modality, branch, etc.

Places are awarded according to the average grade of the technical or baccalaureate degree. Remember that dates and processes may vary according to the autonomous community. Always check the specific information for your region. We hope this guide will help you in the FP pre-enrollment process!
